Specifications:
Description: On the block this week is a Gambler 206 CC Bass Boat (hull only), complete with an Ameritrail trailer and all steering hardware - simply bolt on a motor and go. This was built as a quarter mile outboard drag racing boat, and as such, it's got a light lay-up deck with no fishing equipment. With a Mercury 2.5 EFI outboard, this boat ran over 100 MPH in the quarter mile. This fresh water racing boat has a special lightweight hull with a blueprinted bottom, and looks extremely fast even standing still. With my relatively stock 2.5 liter Mariner carb motor that was removed from this boat, it would attain speeds in excess of 80 MPH - and get there very quickly. While built for speed, this hull would be easy to use for serious bass fishing. There is a mass of storage down both sides of the deck under large carpeted sections that lift on hinges. Two front compartments also lift up for lots more room and access. These compartments are unfinished, but it would be a rewarding project to set them up and rig them for fishing. All the lights and electricity are still hooked up, and gauges are installed in the console. The throttle is controlled by a billet aluminum pedal at your right foot. The trailer is in excellent shape, and also has never seen the salt water (this boat was only used on the Suwannee River in Northern Florida). The hubs and axles are perfect, and all the lights work fine. It's a perfect form-fitting match with the hull of the boat, and the combo looks terrific. There is no rust to be found on it. Gambler Bass Boats are the leader in the industry, and command very high prices. This is a great chance to get in to one affordably while having something very rare and interesting - at speed, not much of this boat remains in the water, and it commands a lot of attention. Bid with confidence, this will make a great project - it's solid, clean, and a little buffing out will make its attractive gel coat gleam. I had lost interest in this boat after moving to the coast, and it has been sitting unused for about two years - please call me at (239) 287-4561 for more specifics.
